VISION

The vision of Lake View High School is to motivate all students to strive for excellence and take an active and responsible role in their learning so that they will be literate and competent, able to reason critically and work cooperatively to reach their goals in life.

MISSION

Our mission at Lake View High School is to provide an academic program that supports our students’ literacy learning and helps them develop into responsible and productive citizens.

To help accomplish our Mission, The following core beliefs will guide our action:

All students can learn within a nurturing and supportive environment that sets high expectations;
All students must be provided with high quality reading instruction in all core subject areas;
Respect and appreciation of our cultural diversity and democratic values are essential learning;
Parental Involvement is essential to learning and must be promoted;
A technology rich environment improves and enhances learning;
A highly personalized learning environment is essential to student motivation, involvement and the development of positive habits and attitudes.
