On October 27th, nine of Lake View's seniors participated in the Chicago Scholars Onsite College Admission Forum. During this event, 148 selective to highly selective colleges and universities from across the country came together to connect with some of Chicago's most talented youth. Students were able to interview with up to six best match-fit colleges and many received on-the-spot college admissions decisions and merit-based scholarship offers.
Collectively, the LVHS Chicago Scholars (Nathalia D, Daniel C, Robert K, Stefan Z, Jacqueline B, Diana S, Daisy T, Aide B, Oleh L, and Amanda L) earned 28 college acceptances and over $1,008,228 in scholarship dollars. "These students put in hours of hard work leading up to and prepping for the Onsite. It feels really great to see all of that hard work paying off for them. We couldn't be more proud. Great work, Wildcats!" said Ms. Erin Howell, College and Career Coach for LVHS (pictured above with the Scholars).
