ODLSS Job Shadowing Event

All students with disabilities within Chicago Public Schools are eligible to sign up to attend a series of JSDs taking place in spring 2017. Students are matched based on their career interests and the space open in each JSD site. Educational sessions on job readiness related to the JSD site will be provided at each session.

One Summer Chicago is a summer work program that employed over 25,000 youth (14 - 24 years old) last summer. We are urging all of our students who are interested in earning money and gaining valuable work experiences to apply to the program.

Parent Empowerment Expo and Resource Fair for families

On Saturday, March 21, 2015 Chicago Public Schools’ Office of Diverse Learner Supports and Services will host its annual Parent Empowerment Expo and Resource Fair for families of students with diverse learning needs. The event will be held at George Westinghouse College Prep High School from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Featured workshops include Individualized Education Program (IEP) Question and Answer Clinic
