How do I get a temporary ID?
This is a reminder that our new policy for Temporary IDs is that students are able to obtain temps in the morning upon entrance in the basement and once morning entrance has closed at 8:55, they are available at the main desk on the FIRST FLOOR and on the THIRD FLOOR by room 313. They are no longer available in Room 109
I went in to the bathroom and it was really dirty. Who do I tell?
Report which bathroom and what exactly was dirty about it to the main office so it can be cleaned asap!
What do I do if I am being bothered or bullied outside of school?
Speak with your parent/guardian, counselor, or a dean. If the other student(s) attend Lake View then steps can be taken to fix the situation without you getting into trouble. If the other student(s) are not Lake View students discipline cannot be taken with them, but the adults in your life can reach out to other schools or parents to advocate for you. If it is really bad, you should also reach out to the police department to see what they recommend or can help you with.
What do I do if I lose my temp ID?
Purchase another one in 109. Make sure you put it on your clothing so that it does not get lost!
What if I am tardy because of a doctor's appointment running late or the bus not coming, or something outside of my control?
Lake View gives students 3 tardies to school a semester to account for things outside of our control such as appointments, public transportation, etc. Please leave as early as possible to take into account that these things do happen, as after 5 tardies a detention is issued.
