College Readiness
At LVHS, our challenging coursework as well as AP and dual credit opportunities provide the rigorous curriculum colleges demand. As part of our STEM program, students create and maintain a digital portfolio of their four-year design projects, a useful compendium for the college application process.

Most colleges and universities have a set of basic curriculum requirements for applicants. At Lake View High School, our course offerings are designed as “College Preparatory” courses, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to pursue a post-secondary education.
LVHS students attend top-ranked public, private and specialized colleges and universities across the country.

Our College and Career counseling center provides students with expert guidance to ensure they find the best fit for their futures. LVHS counselors work with students and parents throughout their four years at LVHS to help navigate every aspect of the college process – from course selection to SAT/ACT workshops to assistance with applications, essays, financial aid, and scholarship programs.
