As the College/Career Coach of Lake View High School, it is my responsibility to ensure every student graduates with a concrete post-secondary plan.  I received my Bachelor's in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011, and I'm currently working on my Master's in Relational Communication at DePaul University.

I absolutely love my job! As the first person in my family to attend college, I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of high school students.  With over four years of experience in post-secondary advising, I've helped thousands of students from across the country with understanding the college application process, with applying for financial aid, with writing effective personal statements, and with choosing a college or university that is right for them.

When I'm not helping students figure out the next stage of their lives, you can find me cooking up a storm in my kitchen, working on homework for my graduate degree, attending a concert, or exploring new neighborhoods in the city.
