Dania Saleh

Assistant Principal of Instruction

Year started at LVHS: 2018

Dania Saleh is the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Lake View High School and the administrative liaison for Social Studies, Art, and Music. Her passion for education started early when she took on an after school job as a daycare teacher assistant. From there, Dania majored in elementary education and graduated from Northeastern Illinois University. Shortly after, she began working at Belding Elementary and taught 1st, 3rd, and 6th grades. Dania also worked as a CPS Framework Specialist, where she created and led trainings for CPS teachers across the district. Her roles in education, experience with various age groups, and a passion for social justice were what inspired her to become a school leader. Dania earned an M.Ed from Teachers College, Columbia University and also fell in love with New York style pizza. As an administrator, she works to empower the voices of Lake View students, staff, and families to drive positive change in the school and community. Outside of school, she loves to spend time with her family and traveling the world. On any given day you can find Dania greeting students, coaching teachers, cheering Wildcats at their games, or showing off some great dance moves during school-wide assemblies.
