Head Coach

Coach Poole has been coaching baseball at Lake View since 2010, and has been the head Varsity coach since 2015. In 2019, Coach Poole was named Chicago Cubs City High School Coach of the Year. Along with coaching, Coach Poole also teaches physical education at Fort Dearborn Elementary.

Coach Poole graduated from Jacksonville High School in central Illinois where he was an all-area pitcher as well as leading his team in wins and ERA.  After high School he played at Lewis and Clark Community College for former Chicago Cub Randy Martz.  Upon leaving Lewis and Clark coach Poole finished his undergraduate education at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a bachelors degree in Education. With a desire to continue is education Coach Poole attended Concordia University graduating with a master’s in education administration.  When he is not coaching or teaching, Coach Poole enjoys spending his time with his wife Lauren and their dog Major.
