Head Coach

Coaching Experience:

Coach Poole is in his first year as the varsity baseball coach at Lake View High School.  In the past he has had various roles with the program such as a three year stint as the varsity assistant coach and more recently the sophomore head coach where the team finished second place in the city tournament.  Coach Poole also coaches a collegiate/adult level summer league team in the city of Chicago comprised of many former Chicago Public School players.

Playing Experience and Education:

Coach Poole graduated from Jacksonville High School in central Illinois where he was an all-area pitcher as well as leading his team in wins and ERA.  After high School he played at Lewis and Clark Community College for former Chicago Cub Randy Martz.  Upon leaving Lewis and Clark coach Poole finished his undergraduate education at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a bachelors degree in Education. With a desire to continue is education Coach Poole attended Concordia University graduating with a master’s in education administration.  Along with coaching, Coach Poole also teaches physical education at Fort Dearborn Elementary.

Personal:  Coach Poole and his wife Lauren have been married for three years and spend the majority of their time chasing around their dog Major.
