Clubs provide students with an array of opportunities to pursue their passions and explore their curiosity. Members of the LVHS Innovation Academy work on interactive projects and participate in unique enrichment field trips that explore business, technology, economic and educational facilities.Recent trips have included visits to Google, 1871, Northwestern University and Microsoft.

Adventurous students with a passion for cultural discovery choose the LVHS Travelers’ Club. In recent years, students have visited Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, London and Greece. And in 2019-20, they’re heading to Japan and Costa Rica!

The LVHS Student Council is the heart of school spirit, pride and community-building efforts. Representing every grade level, these student leaders plan monthly, school-wide assemblies and other social events.

Fostering critical thinking, speaking and listening skills in a competitive setting, our top-10 ranked Debate Team competes in tournaments throughout the city.

The mission of Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) is to motivate young people to be better citizens. We do this by instilling leadership skills, offering a rich learning environment, and by giving cadets the opportunities they need to realize their full potential.
