Mr. Bernardo Juarez


Bernardo Juarez has B.S. in Computer Science from Loyola University and MAT from Chicago State University. He has dedicated 11 years to teaching Computer Science at the 9-12th grade level. He joined Lake View High School with the inception of the ECSS Computer Science Department in the 2012-2013 school year; he is the department chair but is most fond of this position because the “awesome family he works with”.  Courses delivered throughout his career include basic computer courses, web development, animation/multimedia and programming. He currently teaches IT Problem Solving and Operating System, a dual credit course with CCC. Beyond the classroom, his trajectory includes having assisted in securing a Ford Pas Grant and being an Oppenheimer Grant recipient.
